Our New Home: Building in progress

When I was younger I have always been dreaming of getting a place of my own and that dream is finally coming true.

Two years ago, me and my fiancé Cameron decided buy a home in order to avoid the high cost of weekly rent. The land took a while to get registered, approximately 18 months but it was worth the wait as the land value has increased dramatically and we were able to save up a fair bit for the deposit.

Just before the registration June 2016

We purchased the home and land package from Oakworth Homes. They are based in Sydney's south west and known for delivering simple spacious home designs with quality features. If you want more information about this builder visit their website: www.oakworth.com.au.

Two weeks after the land was registered they started to dig the ground and placed the layout of the slab.

.... a week later the slab was on.

... then another week later, the frame was up.

 .. not long after the frame they put the roof up. Putting the roof up was exciting as watching the footy. Lol.

1 week after the roof was completed they've started to put the bricks up. At this stage, the house is 95% bricked.
